Ken Bastiaensen is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Ravical, where he leads on the technical architecture behind the AI agents used across the business’ client base.
He previously founded Boltzmann, a bootstrapped AI company focused on finance and accounting, which was acquired by Silverfin in 2021. Following the acquisition, Ken served as Director of AI and Director of Special Projects, advancing Silverfin’s applied AI capabilities.
Earlier in his career, Ken worked on a banking trading floor and as a freelance quantitative modeller, before completing research spanning nuclear physics, finance and artificial intelligence following his doctoral work at Ghent University.
He is a proven AI builder and evangelist, focused on applying advanced data science to professional services.
