Building an AI workflow in Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude has become straightforward, and many individuals now do so independently. While useful for the individual concerned, this often results in multiple variations of the same process circulating within a firm, with no consistent oversight of quality, consistency or security. An AI workflow implemented at the practice level operates differently. The process is defined once, after which every member of the firm, from partner to first-week trainee, handles work on a client file in a consistent and high-quality manner. This approach replaces scattered tools and fragmented processes with a single, well-governed way of working.
